K-9 Bolt was bred in the UK and trained by Vapor Wake K-9 in Anniston, Alabama. He served the Chicago Police Department as a Vapor Wake Explosive Detection K-9. Bolt led an exciting career that allowed him be a part of the Chicago Cubs World Series Championship, NFL Drafts, multiple Chicago Marathons, and numerous White Sox, Cubs, and Chicago Bears games, as well as bomb sweeps for dignitaries making their way through Chicago. K-9 Bolt, now retired, enjoys competing in UKC hunt tests, duck and pheasant hunting and long naps on the couch.
