K9 Lary retired at the end of 2021 and served with the Burbank PD as a dual purpose narcotic and patrol K9. Not only serving the city of Burbank, Lary also assisted numerous surrounding agencies for narcotic detection, and suspect apprehension. Lary also assisted the DEA, and Department of Home Land Security for various operations. Lary became a well know member of the Burbank PD and conducted numerous demonstrations, and participated with the Burbank PD D.A.R.E. program to keep kids off drugs. Lary is currently enjoying his retirement with his handler and his family where he enjoys long walks and an occasional Slim Jim.
