Explosive Detection Canine Aruba (W103) and his handler, Officer Tim Beran, started their partnership at Lackland Air Force Base in 2014. After certification, the team was assigned to O’Hare and Midway Airports in Chicago. For the next five years, Canine Aruba passionately performed his duties from walking the terminals as a deterrent to searching countless unattended bags, vehicles, and aircrafts. Canine Aruba also performed sweeps for dignitaries, our First Lady and the President of the United States. Canine Aruba retired in October 2019 and is now living the life of luxury with his handler and family.
