K-9 Bane started his police career with the Wood Dale Police Department in 2015. K-9 Bane was certified in narcotics detection, evidence location, suspect location, and suspect apprehension. During his seven-and-a-half year career, K-9 Bane had about 570 deployments assisting in the location of about $973 million in narcotics and about $1 million in cash as well as the location of evidence and criminal suspects. K-9 Bane also participated in hundreds of community events and demonstrations. K-9 Bane retired January 5th, 2023 and lives with his handler and family.
Update 2025: K9 Bane was born March, 2014. He joined the Wood Dale Police Department in August, 2015 and worked for eight years specializing in narcotics detection, tracking, and evidence location. He retired in January, 2023. He now specializes in relaxing and being a best friend.
