Chance and I began working together early in 2016. We graduated through AMK9 in Alabama and specialized in Vapor Wake explosive detection. We worked the 2016 Cubs World Series, every Chicago Marathon from 2016-2023, Lollapalooza, Chicago Bears games, and much more. Chance is now enjoying retirement and a great partner for my son.

Update 2025: K9 Chance is a retired Vapor Wake explosive detection K9 from the Illinois State Police. Chance served 8 years with the State Police assigned to SWAT. Chance was deployed for large crowd events such as the Cubs World Series, lollapalooza concerts, the Chicago Marathons, and numerous concerts and sporting events.
