Tal Cashatt and his family, and after completion of his 8-week K9 Academy, Remi was certified as a dual-purpose Narcotics / Patrol K9 for the City of Allentown Police Department in Allentown, PA.

During his years of service, he was always recognized for his detection work, apprehension skills, and his top-notch obedience displays as he performed countless public displays and answered countless of calls for service during his 8.5 year career.

In December of 2021, Remi experienced a serious medical emergency, specifically a collapsed lung, due to a non-cancerous cyst that had burst on his one lung. After a life saving surgery, Remi returned to work in February 2022, continuing his service till both he and his handler retired together after his handler’s 17-year career.

Since his retirement, Remi has enjoyed life filled with plenty of snuggles, plenty of walks, fun-filled times with his favorite toys, but most importantly precious time spent with his family.
