As an Explosive Ordinance Detection (EOD) canine with the Illinois State Police, Rose faithfully served at countless concerts, conferences, special callouts, and high-profile events. During the last three years of her career, she was assigned to the Protective Services Unit, where she held sole responsibility for the security of three state buildings.

Rose was widely known for her gentle, loving demeanor and her enthusiasm for treats, attention, and toys. She brought not only skill and professionalism to every assignment but also joy and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of working alongside her.
