K9 Atlas was imported into the United States from Hungary and purchased by the Beaverton Police Department in December of 2013. K9 Atlas and his handler, Officer Barrington, worked for several years as a patrol team with great success. After Officer Barrington changed assignments, Officer Coulson and K9 Atlas teamed up to finish K9 Atlas’ patrol career in August 2023.

K9 Atlas had a great career and now enjoys his retirement hanging out with his family.
