Hondo is retiring on May 29, 2026 after more than 9 years of service. He became a police dog in the fall of 2016 and since has done an outstanding job helping his agency of Palatine and many surrounding agencies. He’s looking forward to retirement and staying home with his three human brothers and two cat brothers!
