K9 Marshall was born on 06-15-2009 into the U.S. Army Special Forces as an Explosive Detection Military Working Dog. After receiving his explosive detection training from the military, K9 Marshall was eventually deployed to Afghanistan on the war terrorism.

K9 Marshall retired from the Military in 2014 and the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Department adopted K9 Marshall at that time and K9 Marshall continued to work.

K9 Marshall was assigned to an Officer, and they were a certified Explosive Detection K9 Team from 2014 – 2018.

K9 Marshall did certify under National American Police Work Dog Association (NPWDA),

National Police Canine Association (NPCA), and The A.T.F. – National Odor Recognition Testing (NORT).

K9 Marshall worked 4 years with the City of Fort Lauderdale Police Dept. and was Medically Retired at the age of 9 yrs old with his K9 Handler who retired after 20 yrs of service in March of 2018.

K9 Marshall is enjoying his retirement with his other fur family members who are a 5 yr old German Shephard, and a 2 year Labrador Mix.
