Chiko graduated from LAFB in July of 2015. Chiko served at ORD for several years and was forced to retire in 2022 due to his handlers injury. Chiko never failed an evaluation and as of today is very active, enjoying his summer swims and daily runs.

Update 2026: K9 Chiko has now been retired from the TSA’s Explosive Detectection unit for 4 years. He is still a very active GSP, and is now 12 years old. He Loves swimming in our pool, and in lake Geneva. He is extremely fast and retrieves a ball at the speed of a greyhound. There is nothing slowing him down!
