Doyle is a 10 year old retired K9 who worked as a patrol and drug K9 for the Maine State Police from March of 2015 – May of 2021. During his service, he had countless criminal apprehensions as well as finding lost children. He found a brother and a sister that had been lost in the rain as well as an autistic girl that was missing. He found her hiding under a bridge in 90 degree weather. He also had numerous drug interdictions that resulted in prosecution. He is spending his retirement at our home in Maine enjoying time with family and his dog friends Lucy and Apollo.
Last night we lost our sweet boy K9 Doyle. He blessed our family with twelve years of laughter and we will miss him terribly. He was such a good boy. đź’”
