Mao is a German Shorthair pointer who came to Shallow Creek Kennel from Hungry. Mao completed his basic training there and was pair with his handler Kris Hopper. Mao was sworn in as a Officer in May of 2017 for the City of Wilmington. Mao spent the next 8 and half years working and training with the Joliet training group. Mao retired on 12/31/25.
